
I consider myself to be a “fit & busy” working mom and fitness professional. To me, being fit & busy means that you have the same sort of hectic, day-to-day life as most people you know, but that you ALSO carve out the time to make your health and fitness a top priority. Why? Because you know that you are at your best, and better able to provide for those around you, when you take good care of yourself. You know that it’s not just about looking good, but about FEELING good. It is about having more energy to keep up with the busy-ness of your day-to-day life, and it’s about modeling the importance of health and fitness to your family and those around you. Juggling family, friends, career AND a healthy lifestyle?? It can certainly be a daunting task! Let’s face it…being fit and healthy takes effort and time, and time is one of those precious commodities most people wish they had MORE of. Is it possible to make it work? ABSOLUTELY! I definitely don’t have all the answers, but I do hope that this blog will be a place where I can share some of my health & fitness tips, tricks, recipes, and motivation with other “fit & busy” people like you!
